AliceLabs LLC ("AliceLabs", "we", "us") is a U.S.-registered software and technology services company operating as an authorized affiliate referral partner of Bid On Energy, a licensed commercial energy broker.

2. Information We Collect

When you submit a quote request through our website or via our MCP server tools, we collect the following business contact information:

  • Company name
  • Contact person (first and last name)
  • Business email address
  • Business phone number
  • Monthly utility spend (electricity and/or natural gas)
  • Service address ZIP code and state
  • Energy type interest (Electricity, Natural Gas, or Both)

We do not collect Social Security Numbers, financial account numbers, or sensitive personal data beyond what is listed above.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Submit your utility account to the Bid On Energy auction platform
  • Notify 12+ certified energy suppliers so they can bid on your contract
  • Email you the side-by-side comparison of competing supplier offers
  • Contact you by phone to review the auction results
  • Comply with CAN-SPAM Act and state energy broker licensing requirements

4. With Whom We Share Your Information

  • Bid On Energy (parent broker) — for auction processing
  • Certified energy suppliers — Constellation, Direct Energy, Vistra, NRG, ENGIE, Calpine, and 6+ others
  • FormSubmit.co — third-party form-processing service
  • Google Analytics — aggregated, anonymized traffic analytics

We do not sell your information to third parties.

5. CAN-SPAM Compliance

If you receive cold outreach emails from us, you may unsubscribe at any time by:

  • Replying with "STOP" to any email from us
  • Clicking the unsubscribe link in the email footer
  • Emailing support@alicelabs.energy with "Unsubscribe" in the subject

We process all opt-out requests within 10 business days as required by the CAN-SPAM Act.

6. Data Retention

We retain submitted lead information for 24 months from the date of submission, after which it is automatically purged. Backups may persist for an additional 90 days before permanent deletion.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have the following rights under state privacy laws (CCPA in California, VCDPA in Virginia, CPA in Colorado, etc.):

  • Right to know what personal information we collect about you
  • Right to delete your personal information
  • Right to opt out of the sale of your personal information
  • Right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights

8. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption for all data in transit, and AES-256 encryption for data at rest. Our Firebase backend is hosted in Google Cloud with SOC 2 Type II compliance.
