Affiliate Disclosure

1. Nature of Our Relationship with Bid On Energy

AliceLabs LLC is an independent contractor and not an employee, agent, or representative of Bid On Energy. We operate under a formal affiliate agreement that authorizes us to:

• Refer commercial businesses to Bid On Energy's auction platform
• Use Bid On Energy's brand and supplier network in our marketing materials
• Receive commission on closed energy contracts originated through our referrals

Bid On Energy is the licensed commercial energy broker. AliceLabs does not itself hold any energy broker license.

2. How We Are Compensated

When a business we refer signs an energy supply contract through the Bid On Energy auction, AliceLabs receives commission based on:

• Electricity contracts: a percentage of the contracted kWh volume, typically ranging from $0.001 to $0.005 per kWh
• Natural gas contracts: a percentage of the contracted therm volume, typically ranging from $0.01 to $0.05 per therm
• Contract term bonus: an additional 5-20% on contracts longer than 24 months

Total commission per closed deal typically ranges from $250 to $2,500 USD, depending on account size and contract length.

3. Impact on Energy Prices You Pay

None. The commission we receive is paid by the winning supplier from their existing margin. It is NOT added to your energy rate. The price per kWh or therm you pay through our auction is identical to what you would pay if you went directly to Bid On Energy or to any supplier in the auction.

In fact, because we run a competitive auction with 12+ suppliers bidding simultaneously, you typically pay less than if you negotiated directly with a single supplier.

4. MCP Server Agent Affiliate Program

AI agents that submit leads through our MCP server with their agent_id share in our commission. Current agent payout rates:

• Electricity: $0.005/kWh of contracted volume (~$500-$2,500 per closed deal)
• Natural gas: $0.05/therm of contracted volume (~$250-$1,500 per closed deal)
• Multi-year bonus: +20% on contracts > 24 months

5. Our Independence

Although we are an affiliate of Bid On Energy, our recommendations are based on actual auction results. We do not recommend specific suppliers; the auction platform pits all 12+ certified suppliers against each other in real time, and the lowest bidder wins.

We are not affiliated with any specific energy supplier (Constellation, Direct Energy, Vistra, NRG, ENGIE, Calpine, etc.). All suppliers participate equally in the auction.

6. FTC Compliance

This disclosure is provided in compliance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on affiliate marketing (16 CFR Part 255). We disclose our affiliate relationship clearly and conspicuously:

• On our website footer (every page)
• In every cold outreach email we send (per CAN-SPAM Act)
• In our MCP server documentation
• In our Terms of Service
